We stayed at "The Inn at Maple Crossing" and went to the area for a Brewfest event that Aaron attended to pedal Fargo Beer.
That was Saturday afternoon/evening where Aaron did this.
And Graham did this.
But the rest of the weekend was just about R&R and family time.
We went to Rhombus Guys for pizza on Friday night.
This time when he got a little fussy, a new rattle, stuffed animal or taggie blanket seemed to do the trick.
All that fun eventually lead to a nap with mom though.
But he was wide awake when we left...
Happy.
Our room was great and had lots of room for baby and us. It even had a rocking chair to keep our bedtime routine pretty much intact!
Bedtime.
Morning came quickly with Graham in our room and lots of windows. We loved our room here but it made us appreciate the blackout blinds we have in Graham's room at home. As soon as the sun was up....so was he!
But we just snuggled up and made the best of it.
Up early made naps easy for G. Too bad mom and dad weren't so lucky.
The well-lit room was great though. We enjoyed a view of the lake on three of the four walls.
And it was a comfortably cool weekend so sitting in the room with the windows open kind of felt like sitting on a porch.
It was a great weekend for just the three of us. With a new baby in the summer it's easy to feel a little house-bound. This getaway was just what we needed!
