Smiling and Walking

Ok, Graham's not really walking. But he is smiling and we are going on outdoor stroller walks since the weather is finally turning into Spring.

Graham is 7 weeks old and here are the smiles caught on camera to date. It is the coolest thing ever to see him respond to us with a smile! Especially when you're working so hard for it with jumping, snapping, tickling, speaking in high voices and making strange sounds. He is fascinated by his parents embarrassing themselves...

 Happy baby...

"Does this onesie make me look fat? Mom was too excited to put me in it but perhaps it will fit me a little better in a few months."

Must have been doing something reeallly weird for this reaction...

Then in the walking (and good weather) department, here's Graham's first taste of sunshine on Friday, April 26.

That night we went to the brewery for a family barbeque and got to dine outside. Graham didn't even seem to mind the trains passing by.

Here we are all bundled up for our walk later that evening. Aaron, Graham and I walked on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Then on Monday we got to walk with friends Erin and Declan. So nice to have friends on maternity leave at the same time as us!

Other happenings this week included a play date with Peyton and Jeanine

Here's Graham all tuckered out from a rough morning playing with Grandma and Grandpa while Aaron and I went to hear Bill Gates speak at Concordia.

Graham also took to the swing this week. He hasn't been the biggest fan to date, but he's now spent a couple 1 hour stints in it. And he seems legitimately entertained by it. Love this expression. Oooooh!

We still get in plenty of snuggles too. Here's my view on a typical morning. Lucky me!!

Love this next picture. Graham was fussy so I laid him down to swaddle him. His moods change so quickly because he passed out as soon as he hit the ground.

Male bonding...

Snuggles in our homemade blanket from Erin Westby.

Tummy time

Naked time

And with that Graham says, "Please! No more pictures! I know I'm handsome, but please."
