First Two Weeks

Graham is already two weeks old! Here's a rundown of what we've been up to since coming home from the hospital.

First things first ... meeting Millie! I detect a hint of smile on young Graham. These two will be best friends in no time.

On Thursday, March 14, Graham had his biliruben (jaundice) test at the doctor and mama had a visit with the lactation consultant. Graham passed his test with flying colors and they assured us our big boy was eating well and off to a good start for gaining weight.

On Friday, March 15 (Graham's due date!) we went over to Grandma Ange's for spaghetti.

Graham's nose is still cute like a newborn's. But to me this next picture shows what is to come in his future. No hope from either gene pool ... poor kid.

This is when Graham got to meet Uncle Eric.

Eric is a big fan of Graham, constantly texting me now requesting new and updated pictures of the little man.

Here's Grandma Ange and Graham

Graham sleeps in the bathroom while I shower (which I'm proud to say I've taken every day since being home). I like having him close and he likes the white noise of the fan and the shower. And then the blow dryer.

For the most part, Graham slept his way through his first week of life. And he always looks cute doing it.

Here's his nighttime sleeping arrangement.

Graham and dad caught a little shut-eye together too.

And here's a few alert moments captured on film.

Graham's first party was a St. Patty's Day party on Saturday, March 16 at the Dahl's house. He was in the spirit with his new green sweatshirt.

Millie is continuing to get used to Graham's presence. I think she's a little frustrated to not get played with as often, but overall she doesn't seem to mind having the little guy around.

Thunder stolen...

And here's a few snaps from week 2.

Bathtime...

Sleeping...

Waking up...

More waking up...

More sleeping ...

For mama's first venture out of the house alone, we went to the FargoDome to watch dad ref the state girls class B basketball tournament. Graham and I made it to a game each day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The noise didn't bother him at all.

Friday night Aaron and I went to the games together (since Aaron wasn't reffing those).

Here's what changing time looks like...

And here's Millie burrowing into one of Graham's blankets and messing up the folded laundry on the couch.

And finally, some snuggles with mama on his 2 week birthday (March 24).
