First Thanksgiving

Graham had an awesome first Thanksgiving! Per tradition, we traveled up north to Uncle Hoota and Aunt Jeanette's in Virginia, MN.

On Wednesday night he enjoyed sitting at the table with everyone for soup.

New this year, Aunt Monica organized a "Turkey Day 5k" for all the rellies. Costumes were encouraged ... so Graham and all got in on the fun.

We are confident we brought some excitement to the quiet Virginia streets on Thanksgiving morn. From Gophers to Scarecrows to tu-tu-ed Turkeys--we looked good.

Graham easily strolled along inside mama's coat (it fit him in when he was inside mama's tummy. Why not press our luck 8 months later?).

The turkeys strolling (you didn't think I ran, did you??)

We eventually cleaned up into our Thanksgiving Best.

Graham easily fit in with the boys after the meal.

On lazy mornings, Graham was the center of attention.

Which was a good thing because he actually started crawling over the weekend and needed lots of eyes on him to keep him out of trouble.

We love his funky little style to it. Left leg out is how all the cool kids are crawling these days.

And it's not Thanksgiving up north without Banya Day. Graham was there last year too, but this year he got to enjoy it a little more.

Of course, this shenanigans happened again.

Graham stayed warm inside.

Under the care of this guy while Aaron and I got in a run together.

He got to hang out with mama plenty too.

Safe to say I think he enjoyed his first Thanksgiving and first Banya Day.
